Firewise Bin - Update and Request

Hi Neighbors!

The Firewise Bin program has gotten off to a great start! Thank you to the owners who are using it and who are finding value in it.

The program will run through the summer and/or until the funding we have allocated is exhausted. In order to be good stewards of the dollars we have to spend, we have a couple of asks:

Please check the dumpster to make sure there is adequate room for your debris.

Do not fill it above the fill line. If it is overfilled, we get charged a hefty fee. Be assured that we have a regular dump schedule, but all overages will whittle down the amount of money we have to spend.

If you have a large amount of debris to get rid of, please consider either taking it to the transfer station on US 97 or dividing your debris into smaller loads for disposal, over time, into the Firewise dumpster as it is emptied. This will allow others in the community to have access to it as well. Another option is to rent your own dumpster through Republic if you don't want to wait to dispose of your debris all at once.
